The OCTE fall conference to be held at Lake Oswego High School will focus on visual literacy: reading, writing and making meaning from visual texts.

A full day of conference sessions and workshops concentrating on learning experiences that encourage students to develop visual literacy skills:

  • to think critically about how images convey meaning
  • to understand and to produce visual messages

OCTE Members $60, non-members $70, Full-time students and Retirees $30
On-site registration will be $80 for everyone
Group pre-registration for 5 or more OCTE members pre-registering $45 each.

Credits and PDUs
  • 1 graduate credit through Portland State University available.  Register separately at the conference.
  • Earn six PDUs for continuing licensure.
